Consultations

What’s Included

  • Together, we will dive deep into your health history, current concerns, and goals. During our initial visit, we will assemble the puzzle pieces of your health. This includes assessing past medical history, symptom picture, lifestyle, mental and emotional health, to get a sense of factors that are contributing to your current health.

  • Through diagnostic tools like lab testing, physical exams, and functional medicine testing we can further assess underlying pathology.

The session may also incorporate Eastern diagnostic practices like Traditional Chinese Medicine to gather a complete picture of your health.

Lab testing will be ordered on a case-by-case basis, depending on your unique health picture. Testing is also used to monitor progress over time.

  • A large part of the role as a physician is to educate patients about their health so that they can walk away with the skills and tools to best take care of themselves.

Follow up sessions often incorporate education to help further support your health journey.

  • Together we will create a unique action plan that fits your health goals. The goal is to create a plan that you are able to implement and feels empowering to you.

The action plans may include the following:

    • Nutrition support

    • Supplementation

    • Herbal medicine

    • Mindfulness & self-regulating practices

    • Exercise prescriptions

    • Homeopathy

    • Acupuncture & TCM herbs

    • Physical therapies

  • Navigating health can be a struggle. Rarely do we implement a plan and it sticks and works perfectly. Patients that see the most effective changes often have more regular visits and check-ins to promote accountability and support.

Focus Areas

Hormonal Health

Hormones play a central role in many aspects of your health, influencing metabolism, mood, energy, skin, and menstrual cycles. When they’re out of balance, it can show up as irregular or painful periods, acne, fatigue, weight changes, mood shifts, and more. We use a comprehensive, individualized approach to assess your symptoms, investigate underlying imbalances, and implement targeted strategies to support healthy hormone function. The goal is not just symptom management, but helping you feel more balanced, energized, and at home in your body again.

Fertility

Fertility is influenced by a wide range of factors, including hormone balance, ovulation quality, nutrient status, stress, and overall health. When something is off, it can impact your ability to conceive or leave you feeling uncertain about where to focus. We use a comprehensive, individualized approach to assess your cycle, hormones, and lifestyle, and implement targeted strategies to support optimal fertility and a healthy conception. Whether you’re just starting to try or have been trying for some time, this is about giving your body the support it needs and helping you move forward with clarity and confidence.

Pregnancy

Pregnancy is a time of rapid change, with shifting hormones, increased nutrient demands, metabolic changes and new physical and emotional experiences. Symptoms like nausea, fatigue, digestive changes, and anxiety are common, but that doesn’t mean you have to navigate them without support. We use evidence-informed, individualized care to help you feel nourished, supported, and reassured throughout each trimester, supporting both your health and your baby’s development while addressing concerns as they arise.

Postpartum & motherhood

The postpartum period brings significant physical, hormonal, and emotional changes, yet many women are left to navigate this stage with minimal support. Recovery can be impacted by nutrient depletion, hormonal shifts, sleep disruption, and the demands of caring for a new baby. We use a holistic approach to help restore your energy, support hormone balance, and rebuild your nutrient stores, so you can feel more like yourself again while adapting to the realities of motherhood.

I know, I have been there too.

I was first introduced to naturopathic medicine at 18, during a time when I was experiencing painful, irregular cycles, acne, anxiety, and a general sense of being out of balance in my body. For the first time, I felt truly seen by a practitioner who took the time to understand the full picture of my health, connecting symptoms with underlying imbalances and offering a clear, thoughtful path forward. That experience reshaped how I view health and the potential for the body to restore balance.

As I moved through my own journey into fertility, pregnancy, and motherhood, I returned to this same approach in a deeper, more personal way. Naturopathic medicine became a foundation for supporting my conception, nurturing my pregnancy, and feeling more grounded throughout postpartum recovery.

Now, as both a naturopathic doctor and a mother, I understand how valuable it is to feel supported, informed, and cared for during this season of life. My work is centred on offering that same level of thoughtful, individualized care to women as they prepare for, move through, and recover from pregnancy and motherhood.
